Our Story

My name is Yumel Gonzalez, owner of YG UNIVERSITY and luxury clothing brand YG COLLECTION. I was merely a sophomore in college when I pursued the life of an independent entrepreneur. Success did not come easily or quickly; I went through many trials and tribulations alone. In fact, success came much later,  after my patience and endurance were put to the test. 

 

I, like many others, had no one to guide me, so I created YG UNIVERSITY, intending to serve as a guide for anyone who is just starting their own business or has started but is stuck. A business that would allow me to share my mistakes with you so that you would not make as many as I did. A business that would allow me to share my success stories so you can practice it yourself. A business where you do not need to search for scattered resources because this is a one-stop place where you get everything business-related.

 

 Building business credit is an important part of growing a company as an independent professional. A good business credit score can enable you to easily acquire financing, increase your company’s value, and protect your personal credit. This is something I discovered much later in life and will teach you early in our Business Credit: 101 course.
